A federal court ruled in favor of the states that a drug company that sold drugs to the federal government was liable under state insurance law for a civil charge filed against Pfizer Inc. after it sold Viagra for $1.35 billion to a woman who bought the drug in the U. S.

“The Court’s decision is an admission of liability,” said Heiman, who wrote in his brief that Pfizer had to pay the plaintiff more than $3 billion in punitive damages.
In his brief, Heiman said that the company “continues to maintain its position that there is a risk that Viagra will not be covered by the insurance coverage of the drug and that its use is likely to harm the consumer.”
The company has also claimed that the plaintiff did not receive adequate warnings about the risk of Viagra being used to treat her condition. The plaintiff says the drug was only meant to be used for “relieve the symptoms of erectile dysfunction” and was only used because “the product was not a treatment for erectile dysfunction.”
Pfizer also says that the plaintiff did not receive the drug because the drug was not approved for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in the United States. Pfizer said that the plaintiff has not been diagnosed with erectile dysfunction, and that the product “was not intended for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.”
